In a bid to help Anambra state government to cushion the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic, the Managing Director of Erisco Food Limited, Chief Eric Umeofia, has donated food items to Anambra State Government.
Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata reports that Items donated were twenty bags of fifty kilograms of rice, Five hundred cartons of Nagiko garri mix, two hundred and fifty cartons of Erisco wheat flour, fifty cartons of Nagiko tomato paste and fifty cartons of Ric-giko beef seasoning cube.
Erisco Foods Limited is an indigenous manufacturing company owned by an Amichi indigene based in Lagos state.


Donating the items Chief Umeofia represented by Mr. Nnamdi Nwokolo said he donated the palliative materials to complement the effort of the state government in fighting Coronavirus Pandemic urging all to comply with the laid down directives for the interest of all.

Receiving the items, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu thanked the philanthropist for his humanitarian disposition and efforts in supporting the state government.
