One of the first indigenous Pageant contest in Nigeria, Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja-MBGA, has announced a rescheduled grande finale date, which was initially slated for the 31st of October 2020. In the statement released and signed by the project Director of MBGA Pageant organization, Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo, he stated that the 31st of October will now be for auditioning, while the grande finale and 20th Anniversary ceremony of Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja has been rescheduled to hold next year.

According to the statement, Ejiro Okpihwo noted that the reasons for the postponement and adjustments in dates was in view of the Covid19 guidelines and measures issued by both local and international health agencies. He further stated that registrations by interested contested ahead of the 31st October Auditioning continues.

Over the years, the Project Director of MBGA has continue to make extensive impacts, especially in areas of empowering young girls through creating platforms and opportunities for them to showcase their capacity, perspectives and values toward the improvement of our nation Nigeria, especially by mentorship and encouragement of our younger generation.

From the inception and until the previous edition of Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja, the Grand Finale ceremony has been quite impressive, amazing and interestingly memorable, with regards to the prestigious packaging, sponsorship and the presence of high profile personalities. He has crown over 20outstanding international beauty Queens, who have so far made exceptional impacts towards salvaging the challenges faced in several sectors of concern.

Over the years, MBGA has recorded and witnessed the resounding performances of famous and popular musical Artists, comedians and popular celebrities, including, 2face, Terry G, KC Presh, Faze, Olu Maintain, Idris AbdulKareem, 2Shotz, OJB Jazrael, Bigiano, Kelly Hansome, Rymzo, Adaz, I Go Die, Klint Da Drunk, A.Y, Gandoki, Maleki, Weird MC, Soul E, Black Solo, MMM Gang, Omotola, Rita Dominic, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Dakore, Ukera Eunonobi, Oge Okoye, Bruno Iroha, Desmond Elliot, Ex-MBGN Sylvia Nduka, MC Galaxy, Akpororo, Kelly Blaq, amongst others.
