The Union called out it's members on the industrial action in March this year.

ASUU National President, Biodun Ogunyemi, made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja.

He  said the development followed consultations with its National Executive Council (NEC).

Some parents and students told STATEPRESS that they were being careful in Celebrating the news as the union had achieved similar threshold in the past and later denied.

Besides, they said the suspension means that academic activities can take off this month, but in January 2021.
