As the people of Anambra State continue the search for a new governor, frontline PDP governorship aspirant, Dr. Godwin Maduka, has vowed to be the bridge between the youth and the elderly in the State, when elected governor.

The widening gap between the old and the young in Anambra State, has been prevalent over the years with successive administrations failing to rectify this anomaly.

But Maduka, a global recognized health  professional in pain management, who has made a mark in global medicine, and empowered hundreds of Youths and the elderly in the state through his foundation, says he posses the magic wand to close the gap between the young and the old.

"I am the bridge between the old and the young. I have the exuberance and vibrancy of the youth and the wisdom of the old" Maduka told a progressive group, Ife Anambra at Nri kingdom, as part of his consultations ahead of the Anambra Guber primary.

Maduka identified the need to close the yawning gap between the old and the young in the State, as crucial to it's development, assuring that the two segments of the Anambra population will get the deserved attention from his administration.

He assured that the Youths will be engaged and empowered, while the old will be adequately taken care of.

The Okosisi Orumba promised to set up a special Health facility, with an emergency room in all the local governments in Anambra State, with the state of the art medical facilities, including an ambulance that will dispense first aid treatment to the sick elderly.

Analysts and close observers of the Anambra guber election, argue that Maduka, has the most articulated and workable agenda, and he is indeed what Anambra State needs at this period the state is in dire need of a patriotic leader.

"The PDP in Anambra State  should choose wisely. Maduka is just the ideal candidate that will lead the party to victory. He posses the midas touch and magic wand to take the State to great heights" said Joe Maduebo, a trader at Onitsha market
