Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Bello Masari along with the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Dr. Nasir Ado Bayero with The current Algon National president Bar kolade Alabi have emerged patrons of Messengers of Peace, MOP. 


This is even as the FCT Minister of State for FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu is recognised as the best performing female Minister and grand matron of MOP. 


At the just concluded 2021 National Peace Awards which took place in Abuja, the National President, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON Barr. Kolade Alabi was also enlisted as MOP patron. 

Also, Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa emerged the best governor on Peace and Conflict Resolution, while his Borno state counterpart, Prof. Babagana Zulum emerged the All-Round Best governor in Nigeria. Several other Nigerians who are promoting peace were equally recognized .


The President of Messengers of Peace,and convener of the National peace awards Dr. Suleiman Adejo said the awardees were painstakingly selected from among distinguished Nigerians who have demonstrated commitment to leadership and outstanding dexterity.

The 2021 which was third in the series took place at International Conference Centre Abuja on November 13, 2021. 


Also at the event, the National President of Messengers of Peace, Dr. Sulaiman Adejoh was presented with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in philosophy by Espam Foundation University.


Similarly, the MD/CEO Domark Group, Amb. Kingsley Azonobi presented MOP kids with a plot of land each as part of his humanitarian service to peace and development of the country.tge ceremony for the land presentation will be anounce soon
