Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has assumed duty as the Commissioner for Education in Anambra State.

Addressing series of meetings she held with management staff of the Ministry of Education, Board members of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission, the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, Professor Chuma Udeh called for support of the Education family, to enable the achievement of the mandate of the Education sector.

She expressed optimism that with the crop of staff in the Ministry of Education, success stories will be recorded.

Earlier while welcoming the Commissioner on behalf of the Education family, the Permanent Secretary, Dr Nwando Obiano pledged the commitment of the staff towards ensuring the success of the Education sector.

Professor Chuma-Udeh was later conducted round various departments in the Ministry by the Permanent Secretary, Dr Nwando Obiano.
